Q: Why are Salesforce certification names changing on July 24, 2026?

A: Salesforce certification naming conventions are being updated to align with the names of current Salesforce product offerings.

Q: Do I need to re-earn my certification(s) after the name changes?

A: No. You do not need to re-earn your certification despite the name change.

Q: What is the significance of adding “Agentforce” to the certification naming structures?

A: The addition of "Agentforce" to certification names aligns them with current Salesforce product offerings that feature Agentforce technology. The significance of Agentforce across all Salesforce offerings is that it is the core AI agent platform designed to transform every company into an Agentic Enterprise.

Q: Will the exam content or maintenance requirements change along with the certification names?

A: No. The name change does not affect the underlying exam content or the annual maintenance requirements for these certifications. Only the name of the certification is being updated, and the new product names will be reflected wherever the old names appeared, including in exam guides and exam questions.

Q: Will the updated name of my certification show on my Trailblazer profile? 

A: Yes. Your Trailblazer profile will automatically reflect the new name of your certification. 

Q: How do I get an updated certificate and logo with the new certification name? 

A: Below are step-by-step directions on how to email yourself an updated certificate and download an updated logo starting July 24, 2026.

1. First, visit https://www.salesforce.com/trailblazer/profile. There you’ll see a list of your earned certifications. 

2. Next, click the drop-down icon to the right of the certification you’re interested in. 

3. From there, you will be able to email yourself the certificate and download the logo. The certificate will be sent to the email address you selected for receiving notifications, which can be found by first navigating to Settings in your Trailblazer Profile and then to Email Preferences.
   
   

Q: If my employer tries to verify my certification status, what certification name and date will they see? 

A: If you have opted in to display your certifications in the verification system, the new certification name will display with the original date that your certification was earned.

To verify your certifications in the new experience, click into the Certifications tab. The option to Verify Certifications will appear.

Q: Will these new certification names be reflected in my Partner Navigator Score? 

A: Yes. The new certification names will be automatically updated in your Partner Navigator Score.
