Obtaining an Exam Voucher

Q. How do I obtain a discounted Salesforce certification exam voucher?
A: Discounted Salesforce certification vouchers are primarily offered to individuals who participate in specific Salesforce programs and meet their outlined criteria.

For additional resources to aid in your exam preparation and potentially secure a discounted voucher, we suggest exploring the following options:

• Community Events: As well as being a lot of fun and a great way to network, community events may have competitions, prizes, and giveaways that could include certification vouchers.
• Partner or Signature/Premier Customer Discounts: Qualifying partners and customers may receive discounts depending on if they meet certain criteria.
• Salesforce Events: Events, such as Dreamforce, often offer discounts or free exams for in-person attendees.
• Salesforce Military: Salesforce Military helps you re-skill and get hired. Check out the site for more details on how to meet certain milestones and program requirements in order to gain a voucher.

Q. What if I don’t qualify for any of the above programs?
A: As part of the new Salesforce certification experience, we are introducing the Pearson VUE Salesforce Exam Voucher Store starting July 21, 2025. This allows any individual to purchase exam vouchers via this new e-commerce platform. See Self-Service Exam Voucher Store FAQs for more details.

Using a Salesforce Certification Exam Voucher

Q: How do I use my Salesforce certification exam voucher?
A: To use your Salesforce certification exam voucher, visit Trailhead Academy to begin your certification exam registration. During the checkout process, you'll find a specific field labeled Add Voucher or Promo Code where you can enter your code. Once entered, click Apply or Checkout to redeem the discount.

Q: Can exam voucher codes be used for both English and Japanese exams?
A: Yes. Exam voucher codes can be redeemed for either English or Japanese exams starting July 21, 2025. 

Q. Is it possible to use multiple vouchers for a single exam registration?
A:  No, only one voucher can be used for a single registration.

Troubleshooting and Support

Q: I received my exam voucher from a third-party website or training not hosted by Salesforce. Can Salesforce help if I have issues?
A: Unfortunately, Salesforce cannot provide support for exam vouchers obtained from third-party websites or training events not directly hosted by Salesforce. For any questions or issues related to these exam vouchers, please contact the organization that provided them to you.

Q: My discounted Salesforce certification exam voucher isn’t working. What should I do?
A: If your discounted exam voucher isn't working at checkout, please verify the following:

• Expiration date: Ensure the voucher hasn't expired.
• Last exam date: Confirm you are scheduling your exam before the last allowed date, which is often the same as the exam voucher's expiration date.
• Eligible exams: Check your exam voucher email to ensure the exam you've selected is applicable to your exam voucher.
• Voucher usage: If the voucher has already been used for a previous registration, it cannot be reused. Contact whomever you received the voucher from with any questions.
  
  

Q: Can exam voucher expiration dates be extended once purchased?
A: No, due to system limitations, exam voucher expiration dates cannot be extended.

Cancellations and Refunds

Q: What is the cancellation policy for exam vouchers if I can no longer sit for my exam?
A: For general policies and processes, visit the Salesforce Exam Reschedule and Cancellation Policy. If you cancel an exam for which you used an exam voucher as payment, the exam voucher will be restored. If your exam voucher has not expired, you can reuse the exam voucher code to reschedule an exam.

Exam Voucher Terms of Use

Q: How long is the voucher valid for?
A: The exact expiration date will be displayed in the exam voucher email you receive. Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended.

Q: On what types of certification exams can I use my voucher?
A: The specific exams or type of exams that your voucher is applicable to will be specified in the email containing the exam voucher code(s). Check your email containing your exam vouchers for specifics on which individual exams or type of exams that your voucher can be applied to.

Q: Can exam voucher codes be used for certification exam retakes?
A: The specific exams or types of exams that your voucher is applicable to will be specified in the email containing the exam voucher code(s). Q: Can exam vouchers be combined with other discounts?
A: No. Exam vouchers cannot be combined with other offers.

Q: I lost my exam voucher code or someone used my voucher code. Can it be replaced?
A: No. Exam vouchers cannot be reissued if lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised. Please keep your code secure and use it as soon as you can!

Q: What terms and conditions apply to vouchers?
A: The following terms and conditions apply to vouchers unless otherwise noted in the voucher program terms you received.

Certification voucher offer is for the intended recipient of an email/webinar only and must be redeemed in a single transaction. You must use the voucher and sit for your exam on or before the stated expiration date specified. Voucher codes are specific to the exams for which they were intended and are not transferable, assignable, or refundable, cannot be exchanged for another exam or voucher, cannot be substituted for cash, cannot be resold or used for commercial purposes, cannot be combined with other offers, cannot be reissued if lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised. Limit one (1) voucher/code per person subject to availability and verification of eligibility. Recipient is responsible for ensuring that they register for the correct exam. Offer subject to change. Additional restrictions may apply. By accepting a voucher, you are certifying that your acceptance complies with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and government ethics policies of your agency, locality, and/or employer.
