Congratulations on starting your journey to become a Salesforce certified professional! Explore the steps below to learn how to complete your online-proctored Salesforce certification exam.

Setup Your Trailhead Academy Account

1. Go to Trailhead Academy and log in using your Trailblazer profile.
   
   
2. Once logged in, click into your Trailhead Academy Account in the top-right corner under your profile picture.
   
   
3. When you’re in your Trailhead Academy Account, you can edit all sections except for your legal name. If you need help updating your name, open a support case.
   
   
4. Click Save to save all changes.
   
   
5. Be sure to review the privacy terms to confirm if you would like to display your certifications publicly.

Setup Your System 

To ensure your system meets the technical requirements necessary to successfully launch your Salesforce certification exam, review either the following:

• Salesforce Certification Online-Proctoring Guide (Mac Operating System)
• Salesforce Certification Online-Proctoring Guide (Windows Operating System)

NOTE: Your computer must run on Windows 10, MacOS 14, or higher.

Also, be sure to conduct a system test prior to your exam day by visiting: https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/salesforce/onvue.html. 

Launch Your Exam

1. On the day of your online-proctored Salesforce certification exam, navigate to Trailhead Academy. Plan to arrive 20-30 minutes ahead of your scheduled exam time. Your exam will show in the Available section. 
   
   
2. Click Launch to start your exam.
   
   
3. You will be taken to the OnVUE exam delivery platform to connect with your certification exam proctor who will be present throughout your exam.
   
   
   

Go Through Security Pre-Check

After connecting with your certification exam proctor, they will administer a exam security pre-check.

Take Your Certification Exam 

1. Assistance During Your Exam: During your exam, you will be monitored through your webcam and microphone. If you have questions use the chat icon at the top of your screen to contact the proctor. For note-taking, you will have access to a digital whiteboard to write or draw using your mouse or trackpad. 
   
   
2. Mark Your Questions for Review: Every question has a flag icon you can use to mark it for later review.
   These questions will show on the summary page for review after you have answered all of the questions, or if you select the Review button. On the review screen, questions marked for review will have check mark. You can select those questions to change or confirm your answer. A question can be left as marked for review and will be scored based on how you’ve answered once the exam is submitted.
   
   
3. Exam Scoring: Each question on a multiple-choice exam is worth one point. multiple-choice questions that require you to select more than one answer option must have all of the correct answer options selected. No partial credit is given for partially correct responses. If time runs out, the exam will be submitted automatically and you will be scored for all questions that you answered. There is no penalty for questions not answered.
   
   
   

Get Your Certification Exam Results

Once you complete your Salesforce certification exam, you will receive an immediate pass or fail result. This result will include your score report or section-level feedback, aligned with the sections in the exam guide, to highlight areas for improvement. You will have access to your exam results in the Certifications section of My Dashboard. You will also receive an email that will contain your results and section-level feedback to keep for your records.

• If you pass and earn a certification, your certificate of completion will be attached to your exam results email and your logo can be found on your Trailblazer Profile. 
  
  
• You can also retrigger your exam results email from your Trailblazer Profile if you lose access to the email.
  
  
• Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your exam results via email and for My Dashboard to be updated.
  
  

You will be sent your score report and section-level feedback to the email address associated with your Trailhead Academy Account.
