On February 1, 2027, Salesforce will retire 24 certifications as part of an ongoing commitment to keeping certifications meaningful, relevant, and aligned with what the industry needs most.
A strong portfolio of 63 certifications will remain—spanning every major role in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Administrators, Architects, Consultants, Developers, Designers, Marketers, Sales Professionals, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and more.

Exam Delivery Options: Online Proctored vs. Testing Center
All proctored Salesforce certification exams can be taken in two formats:
Online proctored (Pearson OnVUE): Take the exam from home or office with a remote proctor via webcam. Requires a compatible device and internet connection.
Testing center (in person): Take the exam at a Pearson VUE testing facility. No device requirements — equipment is provided.
If Online Proctored Delivery Is Not Available on Your Account
Some accounts have online proctored delivery restricted at the account level. If you are unable to select online proctored as a delivery option when registering:

To request that online proctored delivery be enabled on your account, open a support case at help.salesforce.com. A specialist will review and update the setting.
