A: Tableau eLearning is a cloud-based eLearning solution. As the Central Admin, you will be in charge of administering the access codes and providing codes to new users.
A: No, at this time it is not possible to reassign a single seat purchased with a credit card. The single-seat eLearning user should make the credit card purchase.
A: Please log a case and include your order number in your case.
A: An eLearning access code is the “license key” that Central Admins receive for distribution to users. The access code is a unique code that will be distributed to and used by learners for authentication during their first login to Tableau eLearning.
A: If you are the Central Admin, go to the Tableau Customer Portal, and in the bottom right corner of the page, click eLearning access codes. Otherwise, please contact your Central Admin for help.
A: As a Central Admin, you will have received an Order Confirmation email from Tableau. This email has a link to the Customer Portal where you can log in and retrieve the access code, as well as an email template to use to distribute access codes to your users. Please see the Order Resources page for a brief overview of how to get your access code, distribute it to learners, and use it to log in to eLearning.
A: Yes. For eLearning for Creator, download this Creator document. For eLearning for Explorer, download this Explorer document. It’s as simple as copying text from the document into an email, updating the access code and Expiration date, and then emailing to all learners whom you would like to access the training.
A: Go to the Tableau Customer Portal. In the bottom right corner of the page, click eLearning access codes to view a list of your access codes. Click on the Access Code to expand the section. You’ll see a list of students who have registered, and the number of registered students will align with the field “# Uses.”
A: As a Central Admin, you’ll want to periodically check the access code list for names or email addresses that you don’t recognize. If you would like to remove users from the list, please log a case and include your eLearning access code in your case.
Each subscription and associated log-in credential for Tableau eLearning is for use by one User, and may not be transferred or reassigned to a different User within 12 months of initial use.
A: Tableau’s Customer Portal is a website where Central Admins are able to manage licenses. As the Central Admin for Tableau eLearning, you can retrieve the Access Code here, as well as see who has registered using the Access Code.
A: Go to the Tableau Customer Portal. In the bottom right corner of the page, click eLearning Access Codes to view a list of your Access Codes. The Max Uses shows you how many users are allowed to use the code, and Expires indicates the Access Code expiration date.
A: Yes, if you're the admin for particular paid access codes purchased by your organization, please log a case to request Skilljar Analytics access. Please include your specific access code(s) and the email address of the person(s) who needs to view the usage reports in your case.

A: If you’re the Central Admin and would like to access eLearning, you’ll need to redeem the Access Code and follow the directions you send to all new users. This will count towards one usage on the access code.
