Mimeo Ebooks Overview

All Trailhead Academy expert-led courses include eBooks provided by our virtual eBook vendor, Mimeo. You can find your eBook code by clicking into the name of your upcoming course in the Scheduled section of your My Dashboard tab. In some cases, your eBook code will be provided in your reminder email.

Please note extensions to allow for Virtual Machine access are not permitted.

Here are the steps to follow to access your eBook:

1. Start by watching this quick intro video that walks you through accessing your eBook.
2. Now that you have the general gist of what to do, click (and bookmark) the following link or paste it into your browser to access Mimeo Digital: https://salesforce.mimeo.digital/.
   1. Want to have it on your phone? You can also download the Mimeo Digital App through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon App Store for Android.
3. If you have an existing Mimeo account, log in with your credentials. If not, click Sign Up for an Account to create an account. Be sure to make a note of the password you create so that you can continue to access your student eBook in the future.

When can I expect to receive my Mimeo eBook code?
Mimeo eBook codes can be found by clicking into the name of your upcoming course in the Scheduled section of your My Dashboard tab. In some cases, your eBook code will be provided in your reminder email.

How do I redeem my eBook key?

1. Go to the Mimeo Digital website. (Tip: Bookmark the page so you can easily find it on the course start date.) You can also download the Mimeo Digital App from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Amazon App Store for Android.
2. Log in or sign up for an account. Note: You’ll need your password to access your student eBook in the future.
3. Click “Redeem Key”, enter your Content Key, and then click Redeem and your student eBook will appear in your library. Be sure to enable offline access to use your eBook even without Wi-Fi. You can also print your eBook.
   1. Reminder, your Content Key can be found by clicking into the name of your upcoming course in the Scheduled section of your My Dashboard tab. In some cases, your eBook code will be provided in your reminder email.
4. If you have problems accessing your account, click Forgot Your Password? on the login screen or click the Live Support tab on the left of your screen to get real-time help.

Will I be expected to return materials? How long until they expire?
Student eBooks are yours to keep and have no expiration date. The content you receive will not be updated to reflect new features or functionality. Your Mimeo eBook is specific to the release content of when you took the course. For more information about Salesforce Releases, please see here.

Can the content be shared externally?
Your student eBook is a unique code that cannot be shared externally.

Can I download the Mimeo eBook?
Your Mimeo eBook is not eligible for a PDF download. If you prefer a physical copy, you can print the eBook directly from Mimeo.

Tableau Course Materials

Course Materials ZIP File
If applicable to your course, a ZIP file will be available for you alongside your eBook on Mimeo. Click on the folder to download the folder to your computer. You will need to unzip or unpackage the folder to successfully use its contents during the course.

For the most success on the day of the course, we recommend downloading and unzipping course files before your course begins.

What if I'm unable to download the ZIP File?
The materials are, unfortunately, too large to send via email or case submission. Please work with your IT staff to allow access to download files from Mimeo. If your company does not allow access to file-sharing websites, please notify your instructor at the start of the course and they'll be able to assist.

Will I be expected to return materials? How long until they expire?

Can the content be shared?
Materials can be shared with those who are also attending the same Tableau course.
