Course Schedule

Q: What is an ILT course?
A: ILT stands for Instructor-led Training.

Q: Where can I find a list of upcoming courses?
A: You can register for a course online by browsing the Trailhead Academy Course Catalog

Q: Is this course right for me?
A: Find a detailed course overview for every course at the Trailhead Academy Course Catalog.

Q: What if I didn’t receive a confirmation email?
A: A confirmation email will be sent to the email address used during registration after you enroll through the Trailhead Academy Course Catalog page. Please log a case if you need your confirmation email resent.

Q: Can I get on a waitlist for a course that’s full?
A: You can join a waitlist by clicking the "Join Waitlist" button on the course page when the session is full. The Join Waitlist button will only appear once the course session has reached the capacity. 

Attending a Course

Q: How can I join my virtual course?
A: The "Join Now" button for the virtual Zoom session will become available 15 minutes prior to the scheduled course time on your My Dashboard tab.

Important Login Reminder:
Participants must log in to Trailhead Academy using the same email (Trailblazer Account) that was used during registration. Using a different Trailblazer Account may prevent access to your course materials, progress tracking, or completion records. 

Q: Where can I find my course resources?
A: Virtual course resources, like your ebook, virtual Zoom login details, survey, and course completion certificate can be found by clicking on the name of your upcoming course in the In Progress section of your My Dashboard tab. In some cases, this information will be provided in your reminder email.

Q: Which instructor-led courses require participants to complete prework prior to the first session?
A: Some courses may include prework that’s available in My Dashboard. If prework is assigned for your course, you can access it there prior to the first session to help you get the most out of your instructor-led experience.  

Q: Is there a syllabus or agenda?
A: You can find a general breakdown of topics covered in your course by clicking on your specific course at the Trailhead Academy Course Catalog, searching for your course in the Search Trailhead Academy bar, then scrolling to ‘What lessons and topics will be covered?' Agendas with a breakdown in timing are typically provided at the beginning of the course by your instructor but remain up to the instructor’s discretion based on the flow of the course.

Q: Will I need to complete any Trailhead modules?
A: Depending on the course, you may be asked to complete Trailhead modules as part of the hands-on learning content.

Q: How do I mark my course attendance?
A: You'll be able to check in directly from your My Dashboard page on the first day of your course. Simply click the "Check In" button and enter the provided attendance code to mark your attendance. If you don’t see the “Check In” button or have trouble with your code, please log a case

Q: What if I need to miss part of the training?
A: If you anticipate missing a portion of training, log a case, and our team will contact your designated instructor. You may also communicate with your instructor on the first day of training and offer them a heads-up! It is up to you to catch up on any information you may miss. Please note that our support team works Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.
Please note: course end times can vary based on the instructor and the flow of the training. If you anticipate you will need to leave early, please let the instructor know at your earliest convenience.

Q: Is the training recorded online for virtual courses?
A: We do not record any virtual training courses.

Cancellation/Reschedule Process

Q: How do I cancel my registration?
A: Once you've reviewed the Course Reschedule and Cancellation Policy, cancel your course registration by following these steps:

  1. Go to your My Dashboard page
  2. From the My Dashboard dropdown, select Training
  3. From the “Upcoming” list, select the course that you want to cancel
  4. Select Cancel, then confirm by selecting Cancel in the pop-up window
  5. Please check your email for a cancellation confirmation. 

Q: How do I reschedule my course?
A: Please follow the cancellation steps above. Once your course is cancelled, please register for another upcoming course at the Trailhead Academy Course Catalog. If you need assistance with reschedules, please log a casePlease note that our support team works Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.

Q: How do I substitute an attendee for a course?
A: To substitute your course attendee, please submit your request one business day prior to the course start date. Please log a case with the course name and dates, the full name of the new attendee, and email address. Please note that our support team works Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.

Billing

Q: When will I get billed for my training?
A: With the exception of courses paid for by Learning Credits, you will get billed for your training after the training is complete. Allow up to 2-3 weeks for an invoice to be emailed once your course has ended. Please log a case to request early billing approval. Please note that our support team works Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.

Certification Voucher Codes

Q: Is a certification voucher included with my certification prep course?
A: A certification exam voucher ($200 USD value) is included with certification prep courses and will be received 3-5 business days after course completion.

Q: Do I have to sit for my certification exam at the end of my certification prep course?
A: No. If you do not want to take the exam at the end of your course, your certification voucher is valid for one year and can be used to register for an exam at a later date.
