There are several ways you can log in to your Trailhead account: Salesforce, email address, Google, LinkedIn, or Facebook. If you’ve already created your Trailhead account but have completely forgotten which option you should select to log in--don’t worry! Select the "Can’t log in?" link.
The “Can’t log in?” link will allow you to log in through any email address that is tied to your Trailhead account. This means, if you know that your personal email is associated with your social accounts (like Facebook and LinkedIn), then you can input that email address through the “Can’t log in?” process. If you input the correct email, we will email you a one-time password which will allow you to log in.
If you accidentally create an extra account, it’s really easy to merge your accounts.
If you forgot the password to log in to your Trailhead account, you can use the “Can’t log in?” link, as described above, or you can follow the standard password reset procedures associated with your method of logging in:

If you see the message below, it means that you logged in with an account that isn't associated with an existing Trailhead profile. If you're an existing user, this means you might have accidentally logged in with a hands-on org vs the account associated with your profile. Click "Back to Sign In" to try again with the correct account.
If you're a first-time user and do want to create a Trailhead profile, choose "Sign Up for Trailhead" to continue.
Pro tip: Connect a social media account to your Trailhead profile and use that account to log in to avoid any potential confusion between Salesforce orgs.
