Error "Enter a valid value" When Saving Organization-Wide Address in Process Automation Settings

This article explains the issue where the error "You must enter a valid value" appears when setting an Organization-Wide Email Address in Process Automation Settings. This occurs due to the Purpose setting of the Organization-Wide Address.

솔루션

This error occurs when the Purpose of the Organization-Wide Address you are trying to use is set to Default No-Reply Address. To use the address in Process Automation Settings, you must change the Purpose to User Selection and Default No-Reply Address. 


Resolution

Change the settings using the following steps: 

  1. From Setup, enter "Organization-Wide Addresses" in the Quick Find box, then select Organization-Wide Addresses.
  2. Click Edit next to the target email address.
  3. Change the Purpose to User Selection and Default No-Reply Address.
  4. Click Save. 


(Note) Organization-Wide Addresses with the Purpose set to Default No-Reply Address also do not appear in the Email Approval Sender dropdown list in Process Automation Settings.
