Winter ‘26 Certification Maintenance

Three times a year, Salesforce releases new system features and functionalities (Spring, Summer, and Winter). In accordance with these updates, all certified professionals are required to maintain their certifications by taking a maintenance requirement aligned with the Salesforce product release cycles.

Below is important information regarding the Winter '26 maintenance modules. Please click on the module name for details about each maintenance requirement, including: how to complete the module, number of questions, and recommended preparation.

If you do not pass the required maintenance module by its deadline, all certifications maintained by that module will expire, or in some cases become suspended. Please review our expiration policy for more information and refer to the Certification Maintenance Schedule for additional details regarding important maintenance deadlines.


Salesforce Architect Maintenance Module (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned a architect certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Identity and Access Management. Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Integration Architect, and Salesforce Certified Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect.
  
  

B2C Solution Architect Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified B2C Solution Architect certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified B2C Solution Architect.
  
  

Mulesoft Catalyst Consultant Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Mulesoft Catalyst Consultant certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified Mulesoft Catalyst Consultant.
  
  

Data 360 Consultant Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant.
  
  

MuleSoft Hyperautomation Developer Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Hyperautomation Developer certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Hyperautomation Developer.
  
  

Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certifications: Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator, Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant.
  
  

MuleSoft Developer Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Mulesoft Developer certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified Mulesoft Developer.
  
  

Platform App Builder Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and certain Architect certifications.
  
  

Platform Developer Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification on or before December 8, 2025.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, and certain Architect certification.
  
  

Slack Developer Certification Maintenance (Winter ’26)

• This maintenance module is required if you earned the Salesforce Certified Slack Developer certification on or before December 15, 2023.
• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certification: Salesforce Certified Slack Developer.
  
  

Tableau Certification Maintenance Module (Winter ’26)

• The deadline for this module is December 4, 2026.
• This module will maintain the following certifications: Salesforce Certified Tableau Architect, Salesforce Certified Tableau Consultant, Salesforce Certified Tableau Data Analyst, and Salesforce Certified Tableau Developer.
