Can Administrators Configure Push Notification Settings for Salesforce Mobile App on All Devices in Bulk?

By configuring the [Push Notification Settings] in the mobile app, you can receive in-app notifications (bell notifications) on your mobile device.
This section explains whether administrators can configure these [Push Notification Settings] for all devices at once.

Løsning

Currently, the standard functionality does not include an option for administrators to enable the [Push Notification Settings] for all mobile apps on each device at once.

Therefore, we kindly ask each user to enable the [Push Notification Settings] on their own device.

The steps for each user to configure [Push Notification Settings] are as follows.

■Procedure

  1. Log in to the Salesforce mobile app.
  2. Click the profile icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
  3. Click [Settings] > [Push Notification Settings].
  4. Tap the notification type you wish to enable and toggle it ON.

Note: You can disable (hide) the [Push Notification Settings] in the mobile app in bulk using the following procedure.

■Procedure

  1. Log in to Salesforce on your PC.
  2. Click [Setup] > [Notification Delivery Settings].
  3. Click any notification type, then click the [▼] > [Edit] for the notifications you wish to disable in bulk on the mobile app.
    Example: Click [Chatter] > [Posts to a group] > [▼] > [Edit]
  4. Uncheck the mobile app(s) where you want to disable notifications, then click [Save].
    Example:
    To disable for all iOS mobile apps: [Salesforce for iOS]
    To disable for all Android mobile apps: [Salesforce for Android]
    To disable for all mobile apps: [Mobile]
