Maps Mobile App Retirement

To consolidate our mobile offerings and deliver a more integrated experience, Salesforce will retire the standalone Salesforce Maps mobile app on August 31, 2026. After this date, Salesforce will no longer provide support, updates, or availability for the application.

What are the impacted subscriptions affecting users accessing Salesforce Maps mobile app via subscription?

• Salesforce Maps (Enterprise, Performance, Professional, Unlimited, OEM, and VAR Editions)

• Salesforce Maps Advanced (Enterprise, Performance, Professional, and Unlimited Editions)

• Sales Performance Management (Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions)

• Consumer Goods Cloud (Retail Execution, Contractor, and Field Sales Editions)

• Retail Execution (Merchandiser and Strategic Sales Editions)

• Industry Cloud Sales (Agentforce 1 and Einstein 1 Editions)

Note: This change does not impact the Salesforce Maps desktop experience.

What action do I need to take?

To maintain field access to Maps data and route optimization, migrate your users to Salesforce Maps Mobile App before August 31, 2026. We recommend adding the "Maps Mobile" navigation item to your mobile navigation settings. See Customize Navigation Items for instructions.

What happens if I don’t take action?

• App Store Removal: The app will be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on the retirement date.

• Support Ends: Existing installations will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support.

• Functionality: While existing apps may remain on devices, Salesforce cannot guarantee continued functionality without migration to the supported Salesforce mobile app.

How to Identify Affected Users?

Review your organization’s users assigned the Salesforce Maps Permission Set License to determine who currently has access to the mobile application.
