Retriever Deployment Support via DevOps Data Kit – Environment Limitations

When attempting to deploy Retrievers using DevOps Data Kits, customers may expect support for multiple environment combinations (for example, Sandbox → Sandbox or Production → Production).

At this time, Retriever deployment via DevOps Data Kit is limited to a specific environment flow.

• Sandbox → Its respective Production org (Merge Back only)

^{Not Supported Deployment Paths:}

• Sandbox → Sandbox

• Production → Production

If deployment is attempted outside the supported Sandbox-to-Production merge-back model, the functionality will not work because this capability is not currently supported by the platform.

This is a product limitation and not a configuration or permission issue.
