Starting in Summer ‘26, Prompt Performance Metrics will no longer be available to all customers. While the feature is being deprecated, all existing data will be preserved.
The End-of-Life for Prompt Performance Metrics will occur in two phases:
The feature will no longer be available, and the following changes will be implemented:
Calculated Insights (CIs): Five CIs related to this feature will be unscheduled through a release task so they do not run and consume data credits.
Prompt Template Feedback
Prompt Template Feedback Reasons
Prompt Template Generation Count
Prompt Template Version Feedback
Prompt Template Version Feedback Reasons
Setup: The feature toggle in Setup will be deactivated and removed so the feature cannot be enabled again. The text will remain visible to convey that the feature has been EOLed.
Prompt Builder List View: The three columns showing performance metrics will no longer be available in the Prompt Builder list view once the feature is disabled. These columns previously showed:
The total number of times a template generates a prompt response.
The number of thumbs-up and thumbs-down responses.
Enabling Audit & Feedback will no longer create CIs in new customer orgs.
The Prompt Performance Metrics feature will be completely removed from Setup.
The underlying data for Prompt Performance Metrics was derived from the Audit Trail and Feedback feature.
Data Persistence: The source data, along with the Calculated Insights (CIs), will continue to exist.
Custom Reporting: You can continue to use this data as you see fit. If you are interested in retaining the specific metrics, you can reschedule the Calculated Insights from Data Cloud as needed. You can also create custom reports and dashboards based on your needs.
We recognize that this feature was valuable for easily determining template adoption and feedback indicators, which allowed AI admins to review templates with negative feedback and make changes for better user experience. We are actively looking for alternative methods that can help achieve the same functionality but with even more features.
