How to Handle Receiving the Email: Mobile Publisher (iOS): [Mobile Publisher Action Required: Need to Create PlaceHolder App]

This knowledge article is intended for customers who have subscribed to Mobile Publisher and are submitting an application for iOS. It is also intended for customers who have received the above email. If you receive this email, additional action will be required in App Store Connect.

In order to submit a Mobile Publisher application, you will need to create a placeholder application in App Store Connect in advance.
Please note that the "App Name on App Store" field entered in Salesforce [Setup] > [Mobile Publisher] > "Target Application" must match the application name created in App Store Connect.
Additionally, check the value of the "Store Identifier" displayed in Salesforce [Setup] > [Mobile Publisher] > "Target Application", and make sure it matches the "Bundle ID" displayed in App Store Connect.
For the SKU, you must enter the value in the format "Salesforce-MM-DD-YYYY", for example: Salesforce-07-01-2020.
For the User Access field, select "No Restrictions".
