CMT Datasource transformation issues

  1. The "Preview Matching Condition" is greyed out when using "Set Datasource Display name".
  2. The order of operations is not alerted in CMT
Løsning

Resolution :
1. Add a Data Transformation named 'Set Datasource Display Name'.

2. Set the Connection Type to 'Tableau Server (Published Datasource)'.

3. In the Published Datasource, select the Source Datasource explicitly.

4. Paste the exact name of the source datasource in the Datasource Name field and then Preview Matching conditions.

5. Once you have seen your datasource, set the new display name and set your Name of the Destination Datasource.

6. Ensure the 'Change Data Source Display Name' transformation is applied first, followed by 'Set Connection Info.'

Preview Matching conditions will only be enabled if exact name of the source datasource in the Datasource Name field.
