Determine Your Temporarily Allowlisted Email-Sending Domains

Publiseringsdato: Mar 20, 2026
Beskrivelse

Starting in March 2026, Salesforce requires verification of email-sending domains. With that change, delivery fails for emails sent from Salesforce if the email domain–the part after the at (@) symbol–isn’t verified.

In existing orgs, Salesforce generated a temporary allowlist of email-sending domains used over several weeks in January and February 2026. Verification of the allowlisted domains is required based on your org type and the number of allowlisted domains.

This article describes how to determine the domains that Salesforce detected and allowlisted for you.

List Generation

In existing orgs, Salesforce generated a temporary allowlist of email-sending domains.

  • For Government Cloud orgs, the allowlist includes the domains used between January 25, 2026 and February 25, 2026.

  • In all other orgs, the allowlist includes domains  used between January 7, 2026, and February 25, 2026.

Get the List

To determine the email-sending domains that are allowlisted in your org, check the Setup Audit Trail.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Setup Audit Trail, and then select Setup Audit Trail.

  2. Look for entries with these values:

    • User: Automated Process

    • Action: Added authorized email domain, {emailDomain}

    • Section: Email Administration

What To Do With The List

To determine when verification is enforced for those domains in your org, use the number of allowlisted email-sending domains and Mandatory Sending-Email Domain Verification Timeline. The timing is based on the number of email-sending domains that Salesforce allowlisted for your org.

To avoid disruption, verify those email domains. Set up an active DKIM key or a verified authorized email domain for each domain and subdomain. See Verify Your Email-Sending Domains in Salesforce Help.

If you need more time to verify your email-sending domains, prepare to enable Use a substitute email address for unverified domains on the Deliverability Setup page when your org gets this update. See Send Email for Users with an Unverified Email Domain in Salesforce Help.
