Adding new node to cluster throws an error message " installer returned status BadBootstrapFile"

Description

When adding a new node using a bootstrap file, an error message is displayed after running the initialize-tsm script:

An error occurred during installation.
Secure storage is enabled, and the bootstrapped crypto keystore is present, but no keystore password is present
ERROR: installer returned status BadBootstrapFile.

 

Résolution

1. Manually add the missing line to the bootstrap file.

"cryptoKeyStorePassword":""

2. Reinitialize the node after adding the missing line to the bootstrap file.
