This article addresses an issue where users encounter an error when running a Retriever in Agentforce or similar environments. The error is typically caused by inadequate access to Data 360 entities (such as Search Indexes or Data Model Objects). It provides specific guidance on required permission sets and links to official documentation for configuration steps.
Retrievers leverage Data 360 entities, including Search Indexes and Data Model Objects (DMOs) within a Data Space. Consequently, the user executing the Retriever via an Agent must have the appropriate object-level permissions to reference these entities.
Assign at least one of the standard permission sets to the user executing the Retriever. For a comprehensive list, refer to the following documentation:
Data 360 Standard Permission Sets
*Note:
To execute a Retriever, the Data Cloud User permission set (or a higher-level permission set) is required at a minimum.
