Apromore is a leading provider of process intelligence software that helps organizations discover, simulate, and optimize business processes. Apromore will bring its deep domain expertise in process intelligence and optimization directly into the Salesforce platform.
This is a significant step in accelerating Salesforce’s innovation in agentic process automation, giving customers a unified, real-time view of how their business processes actually run across front, middle, and back office systems.
Apromore provides a full-spectrum of process intelligence capabilities that accelerate Salesforce’s agentic process automation vision, including:
Apromore provides a comprehensive view of business processes across all systems and applications, including Salesforce and other critical enterprise business systems, reducing operational blind spots.
Apromore’s capabilities will help accelerate Agentforce and Salesforce’s automation strategy by mapping business processes, unlocking opportunities for agentic automation and operational business improvements against KPIs.
Apromore’s capabilities will help customers actively measure process performance and simulate and test changes to predict outcomes and refine processes for continuous improvement.
Core Capabilities
Data Ingestion and Management
Apromore Portal: Acts as the central hub for uploading, downloading, and managing event logs and process models. It includes robust governance features to manage users, groups, roles, and granular sharing and access rights.
Data Pipelines (ETL): Users can extract data from local file systems, AWS S3 buckets, or the Apromore workspace, then merge, transform, and load the data. Pipelines can be scheduled and chained to automate data updates.
Process Discovery and Analysis
Process Discoverer: Automatically generate interactive process maps from event logs. Users can inspect cases and variants, view processes by frequency, duration, or cost, and compare different process variants.
Log Filtering: Offers extensive filtering capabilities, allowing users to slice data by case attributes, timeframes, performance (e.g., waiting times, bottlenecks), specific paths, or rework loops.
AI Copilot: An integrated conversational assistant that helps users ask natural language questions about process discovery, filtered processes, and process comparisons.
Dashboards, KPIs, and Predictive Monitoring
KPIs and Metrics: Users can define process-level and case-level KPIs, set targets (using ranges or custom thresholds), perform root cause analysis, and enable notifications for KPI breaches.
Dashboards: Apromore provides customizable dashboards (both classic and "new" formats) where users can add charts, gauges, tables, and compliance widgets to visualize process performance and track work-in-progress.
Predictive Monitoring: Allows organizations to train predictive models, view predictions for ongoing cases, and use those predicted attributes within dashboards and filters.
Process Modeling and Conformance
BPMN Modeling: Includes a built-in editor to create, edit, validate, and compare BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) process models. It supports complex publication approval workflows and version control.
Conformance Checking & Animation: Users can check how well real-life event logs conform to idealized process models and animate logs directly on top of the models to visualize token traversal.
Process Simulation (Digital Twins)
What-If Analysis: Users can discover simulation scenarios directly from their event logs, extracting probability distributions and attributes automatically.
Scenario Editing: Simulation parameters such as inter-arrival times, gateways, task durations, resource timetables, and costs can be edited to test future states.
Copilot for Simulation: Allows users to ask questions about full or partial automation scenarios to instantly see the predicted impact.
Compliance Center
A dedicated module to manage risks, obligations, and controls.
Users can assign controls to event logs, run automated compliance checks, view the results on visual tiles or charts, and investigate any violating cases to operationalize risk management.
