Resolving Translation Issues with Agentforce Progress Indicators

Udgivelsesdato: Apr 13, 2026
Beskrivelse

When setting up an Agentforce agent, we define Progress Indicators for all agent actions. These messages are initially written in a single language.

At the start of a chat session, Agentforce evaluates three core language settings to determine if these Progress Indicators should be translated:

  • Exact Match: If the End User Language matches the Agent Default Language, no translation occurs. The Progress Indicator displays exactly as originally written.

  • Secondary Language: If the languages do not match, but the End User Language is listed as an Agent Secondary Language, Agentforce will translate the Progress Indicator into the End User Language.

  • Unsupported Language: If the End User Language is neither the default nor a secondary language, the system falls back to the Agent Default Language. No translation occurs, and the Progress Indicator displays as originally written.
Løsning

To ensure translations trigger correctly for your secondary languages, you must write your Progress Indicators in the same language that is set as your Agent Default Language. Update the text of your Progress Indicators to match the default language selected in your Agentforce settings.
