Data Space Credit Attribution allows customers to break down their Data Cloud credit consumption by Data Space, enabling visibility into usage across lines of business, regions, or other organizational divisions. Customers can use this feature for credit allocation and forecasting based on different business units.
Customer Need: Many customers want to track credit allocation by line of business or region, which are tied using Data Spaces.
Use Case: As a customer, I would like to understand the credit consumption by line of business or regions so I can better plan and budget credit allocation and purchases.
Impact: This change improves transparency around billing. Customers can use this feature for credit allocation and forecasting based on their different business units.

Build a Semantic report by joining TenantEnrichedUsageEvent and TenantUsageAttrDetail data lake objects (DLOs) on Event ID. The Data Space name is captured in the Data Space API field in TenantUsageAttrDetail. Filter and group the report to show the credits consumed by Data Spaces.
