Forgot Password Error Affecting System Admin Users in Spring ’26 Sandboxes

After the Spring '26 release (starting ~January 10, 2026), the Forgot Password flow for System Admin users stopped working in newly refreshed sandboxes. Clicking "Forgot Password" and submitting the username results in an error instead of sending a reset link.

Error Message
 : Your account isn't set up yet. Your Salesforce admin can help with that.

 

 

解決方案

Resolution : Ensure security questions are set for the users in production, then refresh the sandbox to use the forgot password flow in the newly refreshed sandbox.
