Following the upgrade to EAC Sync Email as Activity, some users may find that migrated emails display only the header without the message body. This typically occurs if the "Share with Everyone" Activity Sharing settings were not enabled at the org or user level prior to the upgrade. Salesforce recommends enabling this setting both at the org and user level to ensure full email is preserved. For detailed requirements, refer to the Salesforce Migration Guide.
Once the migration is complete, follow the steps below to re-sync emails and restore full email content. Please note that this process only supports a 6 month lookback period for email sync.
Resolution Steps:
Confirm that both the Org and User level email capture settings are set to "Entire Email Message."
Remove the affected user from the EAC configuration.
Wait 5–10 minutes to allow the connected account deletion to fully process.
Add the user back to the EAC configuration to trigger a fresh sync (or manually re-connect for user-level auth.)
