Updating Service Region in Salesforce CPQ Package

Sometimes Salesforce CPQ document generation failures can occur due to temporary service outages, even when configurations are correct. Although Salesforce typically publishes such incidents on the Status Site, there may be cases where customers continue to experience issues.

As a troubleshooting step, customers can try updating the Service Region in the Salesforce CPQ package settings to see if it resolves the issue. To do this:

  1. Navigate to Setup
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for Installed Packages and open it
  3. Locate Salesforce CPQ (Namespace Prefix: sbqq)
  4. Click Configure
  5. Go to the Additional Settings tab
  6. Change the Service Region picklist to a different value
  7. Click Save

After updating the Service Region, retry the document generation process. If the issue persists, it is recommended to contact Salesforce Support for further assistance.
