Admin Console Not Visible for Users with LSC Custom Profile

Description
A user assigned to the LSC Custom Profile reported that the Admin Console tab was not accessible within the LS Commercial App, nor could it be added to their navigation menu — despite having the required permission sets (Life Sciences Commercial Admin, LS Core, Health Cloud Starter, etc.).
 
Two configuration gaps were identified:
  1. Tab Visibility: The Admin Console tab was set to Hidden for the LSC Custom Profile, preventing the user from seeing or adding it to their navigation.
  2. Custom Metadata Type Access: After enabling the tab, the user encountered a "Something went wrong..." error. Backend logs revealed the following: 'AdminConsoleMenuItem__mdt' is not supported — indicating that the Custom Metadata Type required for Admin Console tiles to load was not enabled for the profile.
Resolution
  1. Navigate to Setup → Profiles → Custom Profile → Tab Settings and set the Admin Console tab to Default On (or visible).
  2. Navigate to Setup → Profiles → LSC Custom Profile → Enabled Custom Metadata Types and add lsc4ce.Admin Console Menu Item to the enabled list.
  3. Ask the user to refresh their browser / clear cache and re-access the Admin Console tab.
