Custody Chain Entries - Create Access Not Available for Experience Users via "Evidence Management for Employee Community" Permission Set in Public Sector

Description
Customers using the Employee Community for Public Sector may require experience users to create Case, Custody Items, and Custody Chain Entries records directly through the Employee Experience.

 

However, the standard "Evidence Management for Employee Community" permission, only provides read-only access to the Custody Chain Entries object. The Create permission cannot be enabled for this object via this permission set.

Resolution
This is expected behavior. The "Employee Experience For Public Sector" PSL intentionally restricts Custody Chain Entries to read-only access for experience users. The design decision is that employees should not be able to create Custody Chain Entries directly.

There is currently no workaround available to enable Create access for Custody Chain Entries for experience users within this permission set.

 

If the customer requires this functionality, they should submit a Voice of the Customer (VOC) request to have this capability considered for a future enhancement.
