Revenue Cloud Advanced: Error "We couldn't create the order because the prices aren't updated. Click Reprice All and try again." while creating order from Quote

This issue occurs because the Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) invalidates the price calculation status whenever a Quote Line Item is updated outside of the TLE/STLE and then user tries to create an order.

Currently, the system is designed to treat any update to a Quote Line Item—including non-price-affecting fields like Description —as a potential change to the pricing logic. This behaviour ensures data integrity, as RCA validates the entire transaction state before order generation, even if the change was made to a non-pricing field via SObject API or the standard record page.

解決策

Please perform the below steps to resolve this error:

  • Navigate to the Quote record displaying the error.

  • Locate the Refresh Link (usually found in the banner at the top of the page).

  • Click Refresh (or Reprice All in TLE/STLE).

  • Once the calculation is complete and the banner disappears, attempt to create the order again.
