When Gift Entry is enabled in a Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Nonprofit Cloud) Fundraising org, users may encounter an "Internal Server Error" when selecting Switch to Salesforce Classic from their profile menu.
This error does not affect all orgs with Gift Entry enabled. It occurs only when an administrator has manually added the Gift Entry Grid tab to a Salesforce Classic app tab set — for example, the All Tabs (AllTabSet) app.
Important: Gift Entry Grid, like all Nonprofit Fundraising features, is supported only in Salesforce Lightning Experience. It is not designed to run in Salesforce Classic. When a Classic app attempts to load the Gift Entry Grid tab, it causes an internal server error. Adding Gift Entry Grid to a Classic app tab set is not a supported configuration.
To resolve this error, an administrator must remove the Gift Entry Grid tab from any Salesforce Classic app tab sets.
Log in to your org as an administrator.
Navigate to Setup.
In the Quick Find box, type App Manager, then select App Manager.
Locate the Classic app that contains the Gift Entry Grid tab. The most common case is the All Tabs app, but review all Classic-type apps if the issue persists.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the app and select Edit.
In the Selected Tabs list, locate Gift Entry Grid in the list and remove it.
Save your changes.
Ask the affected user to attempt switching to Salesforce Classic again to confirm the error is resolved.
Nonprofit Fundraising is designed for and fully supported only in Salesforce Lightning Experience. All Fundraising features, including Gift Entry Grid, require Lightning Experience and are not supported in Salesforce Classic.
If multiple Classic apps have the Gift Entry Grid tab added, remove it from all of them.
If the error persists after completing the steps above, verify that no other Classic app tab sets contain the Gift Entry Grid tab.
