Tableau Email Notifications issue

Emails are not received even after configuring the SMTP connection and SMTP connection is tested successfully on Tableau server. Getting below error :

Getting this erro while running subscriptions This job failed on May 3, 2026, 6:22 PM after running for 0.2 min because of: SubscriptionErrorResult: ErrorCode: 150070; Error Category: CAUSED_BY_NON_SUBSCRIPTION_SERVICE; Error message: SMTP_HOST_UNREACHABLE. Email failed to send. (Attachment sizes: [image/png:130037,]). (errorCode=150070);Unable to reach SMTP host. Check if SMTP has been configured.; Original exception: Email failed to send. (Attachment sizes: [image/png:130037,]). (errorCode=150070); com.tableausoftware.server.status.reporting.TableauRuntimeException: Email failed to send. (Attachment sizes: [image/png:130037,]). (errorCode=150070)

解決策

This error often occurs if the mail server rejects the email because the "Send emails from" address configured in Tableau Server differs from the username used to authenticate with the SMTP server. For example, if you authenticate as admin@domain.com but try to send emails from tableau_admin@domain.com, the SMTP server may block the connection. Try changing the "Send emails from" address to exactly match the authenticated account.
