Data 360: Unable to retrieve all Journey API Events while creating Data Action Target

When creating a Data Action Target for Marketing Cloud, you may notice that not all Journey Builder API Events are displayed in the list. 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to your org and navigate to the Data Action Target tab.
  2. Click New to create a new Data Action Target.
  3. Enter the required name, select Marketing Cloud as the Data Action Target Type, choose the appropriate Business Unit, and set the Destination to Journey Builder API Event.

If you encounter an issue where SFMC API Entry Events are not appearing in the Data360 Data Action Target, follow the resolution steps outlined below.

Follow the steps below to help resolve the issue:

  1. Review your SFMC configuration and remove any unused or unnecessary API Events, if feasible.
  2. Ensure that the API Entry Event is associated with an active Journey in Marketing Cloud. Once the Journey is active, the corresponding event should appear in the Data Action Target within Data360.

If the issue persists after completing the above steps, please raise a case with Salesforce Support for further investigation.
