The issue was resolved by turning the connected app off and then back on without making any configuration changes. The user wanted to confirm that no settings were modified during this process and to investigate the root cause of the issue.

Løsning

1. Investigate the Tableau Cloud backend logs for any signs of configuration changes or errors during the reported timeframe.

2. Disable and re-enable the connected app to refresh the handshake mechanism and clear any inconsistent cache.

3. Monitor for Error 142 in the future, as it typically points to a session or token rejection. Consider capturing a Fiddler trace if the issue reappears.
