Starting in Summer ‘26, Catalan and Basque are available as beta-supported end-user languages across all Salesforce organizations. This enhancement improves the localized experience for users in these regions. When a translation is not yet available in Catalan or Basque, the UI text will automatically fall back to Spanish to ensure continuity of service. To see the most up to date language availability by cloud, see User Interface Language Support. Because these languages are currently in the beta and testing phase, translations are undergoing in-app validation and are not yet final. These automated translations do not overwrite custom translations stored in the Translation Workbench or any manually renamed labels. It is recommended that administrators review translations carefully to ensure accuracy for their specific business processes.
Manage Catalan and Basque language settings. These languages are enabled by default for all customers. To enable them for specific users or revert to a different language, follow these steps:
Log into Salesforce and navigate to Setup.
In the Quick Find box, enter Language Settings and select Language Settings.
To make the languages available to your organization, ensure they are added to the Displayed Languages list.
To change a specific user's language:
Navigate to the user's profile/settings.
Update the Language field to Catalan, Basque, or your preferred fallback language.
Click Save.
To disable these languages for all users you must manually update the translation settings.
Catalan and Basque end-user language support is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.
