Tableau Academic Program equips educators with free learning resources, curricula, and software to enable the future generation with data skills. By curating and producing learning and teaching content for educators, we hope to encourage educators around the world to use Tableau for Teaching to equip all students with data skills.
Data skills are essential for the next generation of workers and business leaders. With thousands of customers around the world, including Whole Foods, Texas Rangers and UN World Food Programme, Tableau is a skill in high demand across industries and departments. Tableau Academic Program seeks to provide access to instructors and students to bridge the data equity gap and prepare the next generation of data workers with valuable analytical skills needed to thrive in today’s data-driven world. To qualify for the Tableau for Teaching, you must be an active educator and/or conduct non-commercial academic research at an accredited, degree-granting academic institution. For more details on who can access Tableau for Teaching, please refer to the “Requesting a license” section of the Tableau for Teaching: Getting Access to Tableau article. Terms and conditions can be reviewed under the Additional Terms and Conditions section of the online license request forms.
Non-teachers, including administrators or staff members working at the institution, who want to use Tableau for business intelligence, measurement and/or assessment work, institutional research, consulting, or professional development do not qualify for this program.
