IntegrationIntelligenceUser Permission Auto-Enabled on Standard Profiles After Spring '26 Release

Publish Date: May 22, 2026
Description

Following the Salesforce Spring '26 release, the IntegrationIntelligenceUser permission was automatically enabled on multiple standard profiles (including ContractManager, MarketingProfile, SolutionManager, and Standard) in Production orgs. This occurred even in orgs where MuleSoft / Integration Intelligence isn't licensed or actively used.

  1. Why was the IntegrationIntelligenceUser permission enabled in orgs not licensed for MuleSoft / Integration Intelligence?
    1. This was added as part of a feature published in release notes
  2. Is this permission mandatory for non-MuleSoft customers?
    1. IntegrationIntelligenceUser permission is non-mandatory
  3. Will Salesforce auto-disable this permission in Summer '26 where not applicable?
    1. A hotfix was delivered as part of the 260.11 patch release to hide the Integration App by default.
Resolution

1. Omit the IntegrationIntelligenceUser permission tag from Profile XML during deployments. This does not introduce any functional change and has been agreed internally as a safe, temporary workaround.

2. A hotfix was delivered as part of the 260.11 patch release to hide the Integration App by default.
