This article explains an issue in Salesforce Education Cloud where the PersonEducation related list does not render correctly for non-administrator users on the Person Account Lightning record page. Customers report that while System Administrators can view the PersonEducation related list, standard users either cannot see the related list at all or see it without columns populated.
In some cases, administrators can see multiple PersonEducation related lists due to multiple lookups to Account or Contact, whereas non-admin users may only see one. The issue is commonly observed after migrating permissions from profiles to permission sets or after removing system permissions such as “Customize Application Setup.”
It also occurs when users do not have the required Education Cloud Full Access or Limited Access permission set license assigned. Since PersonEducation is a Salesforce-licensed object delivered with Education Cloud, access depends on both the appropriate Education Cloud permission set license and standard object and field-level permissions.
Resolve in order. Each cause builds on the previous one.
PersonEducation has more than one lookup to Account/Contact, so two distinct related lists are exposed. If only one is added, non-admin users may see no columns or no records.
Confirm the issue is resolved by logging in (or using Login As) as an affected non-admin user, opening a Person Account record that has at least one PersonEducation child record, and confirming the Person Education related list displays with the expected columns and records.
