Media Cloud On Core: The customer reported an undefined error related to the 'SalesTransactionType' field when creating a media plan.

Description

When a media planner or sales rep clicks Create Media Plan on an Opportunity in Salesforce Media Cloud, the action fails with "Internal Error Occurred Validation error (FieldUndefined@[uiapi/query/AdQuote/edges/node/Quote/SalesTransactionType]) : Field 'SalesTransactionType' in type 'Quote' is undefined". 

Resolution

PFB the RCA/Solution for this issue:-

Cause 1: User profile or permission set is missing access to the Sales Transaction Type object

  1. The Sales Transaction Type object permission wasn't granted to user after assigning the permission sets mentioned in the below help doc. To resolve this, we had to grant ‌access to the Sales Transaction Type object to the user via a custom permission set.
