Error Code 9821F0F0 or “LogicException: InternalError” Suddenly Occurs in Tableau Cloud or After Upgrading Tableau Desktop

Description

Users encountered these errors when opening specific views in Tableau Cloud or after upgrading to Tableau Desktop 2026.1.1.

 

Tableau Cloud:

LogicException: InternalError - An unexpected error occurred and the operraton cloud not be completed.

 

Tableau Desktop 2026.1.1:

InternalError - An unexpected error occurred and the operraton cloud not be completed.

Error Code: 9821F0F0

 

 

Cause:

This behavior is related to a known issue W-19327268 which is currently under investigation.

Resolution

Workaround:

Verify whether the error occurs on specific views in the workbook and does not occur on Tableau Desktop 2026.1.0.

  • For Tableau Desktop, use a version other than 2026.1.1.
  • For Tableau Cloud, there is no general workaround.

Track status on the known issue page W-19327268 and wait for the weekly maintenance release that contains the fix.
