Error: Root is not authorized for an AWS Firehouse Stream

Description

 

Using Salesforce Voice with Amazon Connect the following error is received when attempting to establish an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Firehouse Stream:

 

root is not authorized to perform: firehose:CreateDeliveryStream on resource: arn:aws:firehose:us-west-2:deliverystream/amazon_connect_contact-lens_firehose because no service control policy allows the firehose:CreateDeliveryStream action

 

Resolution

 

This error is known to occur if your Organization does not have the required Salesforce Voice Additional AWS Services Add-on License.
