Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL Assignment

Publish Date: May 29, 2026
Description
Customers using Nonprofit Cloud: User may attempt to assign the Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL to an Integration User (User License: Salesforce Integration). Despite the standard Fundraising Access PSL being successfully assignable to the same Integration User, the Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL assignment fails with the following error:
"[User] can't be assigned the Fundraising Access Digital Agent permission set license, because [User]'s user license doesn't support it."
Key Observations:
  • Assigning the standard Fundraising Access PSL to the same Integration User works without any issues.
  • Users with a standard Salesforce user license are also ineligible for this PSL.
Root Cause:
The Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL is configured to support only the following user:
  • DigitalAgent
  • DigitalAgentExternal
The Salesforce Integration User license (SALESFORCE_INTEGRATION_USER) is not included in the valid user license types for this PSL. In contrast, the standard Fundraising Access PSL supports the Salesforce Integration User license.

This is working as designed. The Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL is purpose-built for agent/Einstein-specific functionality intended for digital agents, and is not meant to apply to integration users
Resolution

This behavior is expected and by design. There is no workaround to assign the Fundraising Access Digital Agent PSL to a Salesforce Integration User, as the PSL is explicitly built for digital/external agent users only.
