MuleSoft API Governance Does Not Support Validation of API Manager Instance Labels

Description

When attempting to validate API Manager labels at the API instance level using a custom API Governance ruleset,  it observes the following symptoms:

- All evaluated API instances are reported as NonConformant.
- The evaluated label payload values are not exposed in the Governance reports.
- Repeated violations are reported for the ruleset.
Resolution

CAUSE

MuleSoft API Governance does not currently support the evaluation or enforcement of labels applied to API instances within API Manager. The `management.APIInstance` object, when used in custom rulesets, cannot access or govern these specific metadata fields. This functionality is considered a feature request.

SOLUTION

There is no workaround available. Please refer to the Idea on Ideas portal. Please upvote an idea.
