Field Service: 'YOUR FLOW FINISHED' Screen Appears After Data Capture Flow Completion in Mobile App

Cause

This behavior is working as designed. When the setting 'Manually update a work step's status when flows are launched' is enabled in Work Plan Settings, Data Capture Flows do not automatically close after completion. Instead, the 'YOUR FLOW FINISHED' confirmation screen is displayed, allowing the technician to manually update the work step status.

This setting is located in Setup under Work Plan Settings and affects how flows launched from work steps behave in the Field Service Mobile App.

Resolution

To prevent the 'YOUR FLOW FINISHED' screen from appearing, disable the manual status update setting:

1. Navigate to Setup.
2. Enter `Work Plan Settings` in the Quick Find box and select it.
3. Locate the setting 'Manually update a work step's status when flows are launched'.
4. Uncheck (disable) this setting.
5. Save your changes.

After disabling this setting, Data Capture Flows launched from work steps in the Field Service Mobile App close automatically upon completion without displaying the confirmation screen.

Caveats: Disabling this setting means work step status updates automatically when the flow completes. If your business process requires technicians to manually control when work step status changes, you may need to accept the 'YOUR FLOW FINISHED' screen as expected behavior or redesign your work step configuration.

NOTES:

- This setting applies globally to all flows launched from work steps; it cannot be configured per-flow or per-work step.
- If your use case requires manual work step status updates, the 'YOUR FLOW FINISHED' screen cannot be suppressed while keeping that functionality.
