Policy Transaction Missing from Policy Version Related List

公開日: Jul 7, 2026
説明

When performing a Mid-Term Adjustment (MTA) using the Endorse Policy Service, the resulting InsurancePolicyTransaction record is linked to the original (root) policy — not to the Policy Version created by the endorsement. Users who navigate to the Policy Version record and check its related list will find no transactions listed there, even though the transaction was successfully created.

This behavior is commonly reported as a missing record or a display bug, but it reflects how Salesforce Insurance Cloud associates transaction records with the policy object hierarchy.

解決策

This is expected behavior in Digital Insurance Cloud, Policy Version records are treated as child records of the original policy, and InsurancePolicyTransaction records are linked directly to the root policy object — not to individual Policy Versions. Transactions do not automatically populate on the Policy Version's related list.

To view all Insurance Policy Transactions associated with a Mid-Term Adjustment, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the original (root) Insurance Policy record — this is the parent policy from which the Policy Version was created. For example, open the policy record named "POL-00123456" rather than the versioned record.
2. Locate the InsurancePolicyTransactions related list on the original policy record's page layout. All transactions generated by the Endorse Policy Service, including those from Mid-Term Adjustments, are displayed here.
3. Confirm the transaction details — such as the transaction effective date, type (for example, "Endorsement"), and associated premium change — to verify the MTA was processed correctly.
