Visualization Mismatch on Agentforce Agent Response: Desktop Versus Mobile View

Users may observe one or more of the following:

  • Different chart types displayed on desktop versus mobile/tablet for the same agent query.
  • Different data points shown
  • Text response truncation on mobile : the agent's textual summary on mobile may omit certain data values that appear in the desktop response 
  • X-axis label cropping on mobile : long metric names are truncated on mobile due to limited horizontal screen space.

 

Resolution

The Agentforce Agent does not read data directly from the dashboard widget.

Instead, it runs a live query against the Semantic Data Model (SDM) each time a response is generated. The dashboard, by contrast, may rely on cached or pre-filtered data. Any difference in SDM metric definitions, date grain, or filter configuration compared to the dashboard will result in different values being displayed.

Additionally, LLM responses are inherently non-deterministic. Minor variations in text output (e.g., a value appearing in one response but not another) between sessions or devices are expected.
