When an Admin Console setting is reverted, an orphaned LifeSciMetadataRecord is left behind that cannot be removed through the UI.
By design, unselecting values in the Admin Console only sets fields to false or null — the parent LifeSciMetadataRecord is not deleted. There is no UI option to fully remove it.
Identify the orphaned record in the LifeSciMetadataRecord object, filtered by the relevant profile or user ID in the record name.
Execute a SOQL delete query targeting that specific record.
Note: This is a known platform limitation. Consider submitting a request on the Idea Exchange if full UI-based removal is needed.
