Engagement -Transaction Security Policy & Marketing Cloud Connect

Marketing Cloud Engagement accounts that are integrated with Salesforce Orgs that have Event Monitoring enabled will be impacted by the new Transaction Security Policy Enhancements. 

Enforcement of new Permission and default TSP

  • Sandboxes: Starting June 22, 2026
  • Production: Starting July 13, 2026

This policy will be triggered when an export exceeds 10,000 records causing step-up authentication to be triggered. If step-up authentication is not configured the export will be blocked, until configured. 

 

Currently all Salesforce Orgs that are integrated with Marketing Cloud Connect bypass the step-up authentication when performing actions related to Marketing Cloud Connect, this does not apply to it being triggered by  default TSP.

 

 

솔루션

If issues are encountered the following can be done:

  • Disable Event Monitoring
  • Increase the limit of records that are exported before default TSP would trigger.
