Record Set Filter Criteria (RFC) Re-evaluation Behavior in Appointment Bundling

게시 일자: Jun 23, 2026
상세 설명

The Record Set Filter Criteria (RFC) determines which Service Appointments are eligible to be included in a bundle. During each automated bundling batch run, existing bundles are re-evaluated to ensure their members continue to satisfy the configured criteria.

If a Service Appointment no longer meets the RFC, it is removed from the bundle. When all child appointments are removed as a result of this validation, the bundle is subsequently deleted.

For example, if the RFC is configured to include only Service Appointments in an "Unscheduled" status, bundles can initially be created from eligible appointments. Once the bundle is scheduled, the child appointments inherit the "Scheduled" status. During the next batch run, those appointments no longer satisfy the RFC and are removed from the bundle. If no eligible appointments remain, the bundle is deleted.

솔루션

This behavior is Working as Designed (WAD).

The automated bundling batch process re-validates bundle members against the configured Record Set Filter Criteria (RFC) each time it runs. Any Service Appointment that no longer meets the criteria is removed from the bundle. If all bundle members are removed, the bundle is deleted.

To prevent scheduled bundles from being repeatedly disassembled and recreated, consider the following options:

  1. Configure Add to Bundle Statuses to None, which excludes scheduled bundles from future batch processing after creation.
  2. Use custom automation to set IsManuallyBundled = true on bundles and their members after creation, preventing them from being processed by future automated bundling batches.

Review the advantages and limitations of each approach to determine the option that best aligns with your business requirements.
