Data Mapper Versioning Not Working In Managed Package Runtime

Data Mapper versioning is not supported within the Managed Package Runtime (when rollbackDrChanges is enabled). Due to this architectural limitation, attempting to create and execute new versions of a Data Mapper will result in preview/execution failures.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a Data Mapper in an org where Data Mapper Versioning is enabled and RollbackDRChange = true (in Omni Interaction Configuration)

  2. Create the field mappings and activate it.

  3. Create a new version of the Data Mapper.

  4. Add additional field mappings to the new version and activate it.

  5. Click on Preview and Execute

Observed Behavior:

  • Missing output fields or incomplete data mappings.
  • Preview execution failures with the following error message:

"No valid data returned. Check that Mappings have valid field names"

 

解決策

This is expected behaviour, as Data Mapper versioning is not supported in the managed package runtime. Since Data Mapper versioning is supported only in the standard runtime, its recommend using it within the OmniStudio Standard Runtime (RollbackDRChanges = false) and Standard Designer.
