Creating Custom Batch Jobs

To create a custom batch job for commitment processing:

1. Navigate to Batch Management in your org

2. Create a new Batch Job Definition

3. Select the Process Type: NextGenCommitmentProcessing

4. Configure your preferred batch size (this controls how many records go in each batch part)

5. Set input parameters, including optional processing date override

6. The job handler will automatically use your Fundraising Configuration settings for execution batch size and parallel processing

Note: Only one instance of NextGen Commitment Processing can run at a time, regardless of custom batch job definitions.
