Internal Server Errors When Adding Dashboard Component on Aura Experience Site

This issue occurs when the Referrer Policy in the org's Session Settings is set to No Referrer. This configuration prompts the browser to strip the referrer header from outgoing requests. Because Salesforce cannot retrieve the expected referrer URL, it triggers an internal error (NullPointerException) and prevents the dashboard components from loading.

Løsning
  1. Navigate to Setup in the affected org
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for Session Settings
  3. Under the Referrer URL Protection section, locate the Referrer Policy picklist
  4. Change the value from No Referrer to Strict Origin When Cross Origin
  5. Click Save
  6. Reload the Aura Experience Site and verify that the Dashboard component loads correctly and action buttons (e.g., Refresh) are now visible
